The Tennessee Stars, a Somali youth soccer team sponsored by the Somali Community of Middle Tennessee, competed in the International Indoor Youth Camp in Louisville, Kentucky over Thanksgiving break 2022. The team advanced all the way to the semi-finals and ended up losing in penalty kicks. The Somali Community of Middle Tennessee is very proud of the hard work and sportsmanship this team displayed. They have represented the Somali Community well and are striving to get better every year.
